A mate on another forum I visit has just posted this up about today.....

means nothing to me, but may be of use to some on here....

Just been checking the odds and I think I've found a mistake by the bookies.
Paddy Power and Betfair are offering 9/4 for an Irish trained winner of the 16.10 today (Wednesday). But the favourite, an Irish horse, is only 11/8 and the next two in the betting are also Irish trained. It looks like an oversight unless I'm missing something.
You could actually back the Irish offer and every other possible winner and still show a tidy profit. That is complicated though.
Or just take some of the 9/4 before someone notices.
I reckon you could back it and lay it off when it is amended.

He then broke it down for us non horsey people

The offer is all the Irish horses- Tiger Roll is one- at 9/4. But Tiger Roll is only 11/8.
So you're getting more horses for a much better price. I think it must be a mistake unless I'm missing something.
If you put £20 on Tiger Roll you'd win £28.75 but if you had ALL the Irish horses- including Tiger Roll-on you'd win £45.
Go to Cheltenham betting on their websites and click on 'Specials'.
 “And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.”

Best value offer I've seen is the Skybet one. Stake up to £20 on the first race each day, money back as CASH if you lose. No risk bet, get on it! On a smaller scale, every customer using the Ladbrokes app gets a free £1 bet each day of the Festival. I've done an e/w acca which pays out 8 grand if it lands. Unlikely, but you never know
