It seems like we have a few new posters who like their music, so I thought I would regenerate an old favourite.

Robin Trower - The Fool And Me
Johnny Winter - Lay Down Your Sorrows
Roger Chapman - Some Poor Soul
Arena - Bedlam Fayre
Wolfmother - White Unicorn
Nightwish - Islander
Toploader - Time of My Life
Bad Company - Rhythm Machine
Sky - Mother Russia
Robert Plant - Wreckless Love
Delapsus Resurgam - When I fall I shall rise!

Yes, you do have to be that honest. The explanations are the funniest part. Also seeing tracks from artists that you haven't played for ages, or artists you have never heard. Always good to find new / forgotten stuff.

4. Skid Row - Monkey Business

A Friday evening looking at posts with a bottle of Hobgoblin and the iPod on shuffle, which this evening has thrown up:

1. Elyjah - Casino
2. Gary Glitter - I'm the Leader of the Gang*
3. Dead Kennedys - California Uber Alles
4. Tone-Loc - Funky Cold Medina
5. Hanson - mmmBop**
6. The Skids - Scared to Dance
7. Inner City - Big Fun
8. The Gutter Twins - St. James Infirmary
9. Scorpions - Yellow Raven
10. City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra - Men of Harlech***

* Perhaps, on reflection Mr Glitter I'd rather not join your gang, thank you
** No apologies, I like this
*** No Bluebirds fondness here - soundtrack from Zulu - one of my favourite ever films

A few there that I've not come across before 64, but then that's the beauty of a thread like this.......you can pick up songs/artists you've never come across/heard before.

I did try Nitin Sawhney some years ago, after a recommendation, and got the Beyond Skin album but confess to not finding it an easy listen and have rarely, if ever troubled the CD player with it since.

I have 'Beyond Skin' on my shelves however 'Prophesy' album is undoubtedly my favourite Sawhney album, it just flows beautifully
