RHP released two eponymous albums. Nicknamed "Rollercoaster" and "Bridge". I'm going with the longer and better one (a classic IMHO). These are not official titles but refer to the sleeve pictures so, to listen seek out the one with the rollercoaster cover.

Two songs i really enjoyed on my first listening of the album are :

Great Cathedral City & Katy Song :sing:

Still has some tough competition to cope with I feel

Give it a good few listens mate, it's not immediate, RHP are a great band and so are Sun Kil Moon who 2 of them became then there's the Kozelek solo stuff. Has to be amongst the greats as a song writer.

Both great songs..like all great albums it grows a track at a time. May struggle as it's not for everyone but if it converts a couple on here then Durly's job is done.

I've got their whole catalogue on my ipod and the rest of the day will be taken up by them, musically speaking.

How about asking someone who doesn't play but likes music, Hector for instance, and give them the final vote. He may not know all the albums but he could play the first track off each snd make a decision that way. Not ideal but can't think of anything else.

Sgt. Peppers Love Dummy but Peppers is a classic. Brought up on the Fab4

Led Zeppelin 1 Two great debuts however Zepp 1 has always been a favourite

Low Probably my favourite band v artist, Bowie for me against this Stones album

Surfer Rosa DSOTM is a classic although Floyd have done better imo. Still play Surfer

Led Zeppelin III Tough one, love them both. Zepp 3 by a whisker

The Trials Of Van Occupanther Omg two of my ultimate faves, Van Occupanther just

Pet Sounds Classic v a decent album imo. Pets Sounds by a country mile for me

L.A. Woman Love The Who however LA is a belter

Whats Going On One of my favourite bands v my favourite soul singer. No contest imo as WGO is a gem of the highest order. Surprised Whats Going On did so well in the Premiership League as unfortunately soul music is frowned upon on here

Rise & Fall Ziggy Stardust Playing ELO on our long journey today, has to be Ziggy though

Harvest Moon Better albums in the Young catalogue. Moon pips a 70's classic

August & Everything After - Small Faces were one of my favourite Top Of The Pops bands when I was a kid but the compelling August does it for me, an album that came late to my musical memory box

Who's Next Clash are another band I admire more now than in their hey-day although it has to be one of the monster albums in the history of The Who for me

Beggars Banquet Can't allow this Stones album to go away even though Funeral is one of the best albums from the noughties

The Courage Of Others Not one of Bowie's best where as Courage is simply majestic
