Fish/Seafood
Reckon i could live on fish menus, something i would never have imagined years ago
Whenever we eat out i tend to order a fish dish, can't wait for Cornwall in the summer
Sea Bass is my favourite
Love John Dory/Plaice/Lemon Sole/Monkfish/Scallops/Mussels/Prawns too

I'm the complete opposite little old man. I would never order fish when dining out, don't really like it but eat a bit at home.
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Use to like Trenchers but wasn't as impressed last time we ate there. Jill's fish was full of bones, tbf the waitress did change it.Shields53 wrote:

Had a fish in Northumberland last summer, never had it before. Now a firm favourite. If you ever get a chance to try Stone Bass - it's amazing.
Music so wishes to be heard that it sometimes calls on unlikely characters to give it voice...

Re: Fish/Seafood
Fish is ok, but my absolute favourite is bottlenose dolphin.
Re: Fish/Seafood
I love most fish, but my personal favourite is Rock Salmon. You used to be able to get it in chippies Darn Sarf long time ago, but haven't seen any outside of a fish market for many years. It was actually Bull Huss, a small member of the shark family. Other honourable mentions are Woof and Catfish, which I have only seen in the Filey/Scarborough area.

Re: Fish/Seafood
We tend to catch our own when down in Cornwall...fresh caught, hot (home) smoked Mackerel or Garfish are personal favourites. Most never try Garfish because it has a blue streak inside when you open it up . But it's delicious
