I find it hard to do an assessment and rating on Marcus, mainly due to his lack of playing time on the pitch....

I don't think that he has really been given a good chance to show what he can do, but in the few minutes that he has been on the pitch he has shown some very good predatory skills...

I suspect his goal rate per minute on the pitch is very favourable to most strikers..

We should keep him, because I think that the potential is there to be an excellent impact sub, if he is given enough time on the pitch.

PLAYER PROFILE - Marcus Antonsson

First eleven for you or not?

Not for me. Due to the successful system Monk plays, it limits Antonsson's appearances especially with Wood & Hernandez in such good form

Antonsson's season so far. Assessment/Rating?

Done okay, maybe needs more games & time to assess correctly 6/10

One for the future or not?

Right now I would say no, time will tell

Favourite Antonsson moment in a Leeds shirt?

His headed goal at Hillsborough one of the best of the moves of this season

Haven't seen enough of him to really comment, suspect he's doing well in training otherwise he wouldn't be on the bench, but Douks seems to have force his way in front of him now also

Big fan of what I've seen of Marcus, just looks a player imo. I'm sticking by my sig.

Love MA, great work rate, very good at being in the right spots at the right times, great movement and skills. Been a bit unlucky to not have more goals. Keeper for me, starter even. One of those players (unlike Wood) who can feed themselves and isn't reliant on midfield pushing balls up to him all the time.

League One is rubbish and he has found his level.
We won't see him back at ER unless Radz is planning on making no progress again next season

TC was quick to ship him out after the first few friendlies. Definitely some talent there but as 64 suggests maybe league 1 is his level

Guaranteed Roofe's goalscoring exploits would return if he played in League One
