Somerset needed 3 runs to win only for Adam Lyth getting the final wicket right at the death :victory:

Thank god for Ryan Sidebottom who picked three quick wickets to get us back in the match when all looked lost for Yorkshire

Getting a bit tight at the top of Division 2 now!
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

Watching Yorkshire chase down Surrey's total of 314 on (SS2)

Yorks 166 for 3 after 33 overs

Seems like we will have another Yorkie in today with Jonny Bairstow getting the nod over Roy (who they apparently weren't going to drop whatever happened!)

England / India final would be great viewing on Sunday

Replacing Roy I guess. What went wrong with England? Dreadful batting, pathetic score. Pakistan came out and showed us how it should be done. Are our bowlers so inept? Or was it our batting that let us down. Absolutely gobsmacked at that dreadful performance :duno: Really thought that we had a chance of winning the thing... :(

Think that ones down to the woeful batting display, bowlers always going to be under pressure when chasing wickets. We've been so good for a while now it's hard to explain, so unlike the type of batting performance we usually adopt.

Didn't actually see the game but appears Pakistan bowled really well so credit to them as well, much better team on the day

He opened for Yorkshire the other week and got a big hundred.

As for the match....ICC produce the wicket !!
And guess what?? They produce a wicket that suited the Pakistan spin bowlers. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yorkshire embarrassingly hammered by Middlesex after collapsing totally in both innings

Our batting has been fragile & feeble, the only consistent performers being Ballance & Handscomb

We got lucky & just scraped a win v Somerset, now this pathetic effort

Losing Gillespie is a big loss !

Couldn't agree more 64. We seem to be half the team we were when Gillespie was here, mind you, half the players are missing aren't they? But they have been for a few years so why aren't the Yorkshire players performing?

Poorly managed ?
Poor attitude from certain players ?
Transitional period possibly ?

By all accounts Dizzy did wonders with a very talented attack, which gave the batsmen freedom to enjoy themselves, looks like they are beginning to feel the pressure now.

Anyone watch the T 20 England v South Africa? What a game, came down to the very last ball. (that's what makes it exciting) Bairstow showed his class once again, but unfortunately South Africa just nicked it....( I know not many cricket fans on here like T 20, but it really is exciting stuff and if they leave the test matches alone and don't mess with the format, same with the one day internationals, and if T 20 gets people involved in cricket then surely that's a good thing?)

T20 is pathetic.
It'll be the death of County cricket and in time test cricket.
And then what ?
