England were struggling to get a wicket then Roland-Jones comes on & takes two wickets in two balls, hat-trick on the cards....

And now they have taken drinks

Ooh ! Thick edge into the slips....unfortunately not to be :(

Just back from walking houndie for 2.5 hours so just switched on. England are probably going to have to be patient.

Moheen sees off Elgar for 136 then grabs another wicket with the next ball. Two fine catches from Ben Stokes

Last man in :-D

Excellent stuff 64, I'm really pleased for Ali but also for Joe Root. He had a big decision to make yesterday, stuck to his guns and made the right call. Good lad!

Disappointing to loose Stokes so late in the day (last over?). He and Jonny could have had a big knock tomorrow morning. Not so sure now, hopefully Moeen can steady the ship....hopefully he and Jonny can put on a hundred
Joe reached his 5000th test runs today...well done Rooty

Jonny makes it look so easy :-D

Unfortunately one short of a century, out for a brilliant 99 from Bairstow :clap2:

Just for the noisy Old Trafford crowd, always plenty of atmosphere when England come north

:scarf1: Yorkshire Yorkshire Yorkshire :scarf2:

Yes a cracking win for England

As for Yorkshire we are dropping like a stone, we are now staring relegation in the face as the four counties below us have two matches in hand of us.

We've never recovered from the loss of Jason Gillespie

Being a traditionalist I don't care for all the changes generally in sport

What it does give is an opportunity for fans in the local area who are working for much of the day to go watch test cricket in the evenings
