Cracking deserved win for my dear dad/Faaip's team in what sounded a good game

Big shock for Yorkshire  has the loss of Jason Gillespie taken it's toll already ?

Yorkshire seconds lost to the Kolpak 11.
No need to worry.
Root, Bairstow, Plunket, Rashid, Willey, Sidebottom, Brooks all unavailable.
Root and Bairstow having to "rest" due to England duties ....ffs.
1 up to Von Strauss...the same prick who robbed us of last seasons county championship.

Only if you have problems with Kolpak which I don't. SA's new policy of only 5 white guys per game in the international side has pushed this big time. SA's white cricketers now need to find another way to earn their living. Kolpak is basically a way for non EU nationals in any form of employment to work in Europe. Brexit will bring that to a halt in all probability

Most of our first side is English - Adams, Carberry, Vince, Ervine (Now English), Dawson, McManus, Topley (when fit) Crane (our new spin hope) Brad Wheal and Chris Wood ...We have 3 Kolpak players and one overseas who didn't play over the weekend. Big miss that George Bailey.

Don't forget Jacques Rudolph was Kolpak.

Most of our first 11 play for England..!
No i don't agree with kolpak..they are foreign players, so each side should only be able to play one foreigner..yes, agree about the ridiculous SA selection policy.
I'm afraid I'm old school, for me Yorkshire should have stuck to their policy of only playing players who were born in the broad acres.
Admitadly we'd have been shite through the 70s 80s 90s, but we've finally got our junior system working well..long may that continue.
And you know what they say :- A strong Yorkshire, a strong England ...

Yes get your head round that :? a decision made by Strauss & another Middlesex board member. Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes for instance also played in the round of County Championship matches that week.

Absolutely appalling decision from the cricket hierarchy  they should hang their heads in shame

If by Juniors you mean nicking our players, yes I agree!
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

We (The Steelbacks!) destroyed Glos at a canter, even with the points deductions I am not sure they will not finish bottom!
