Glad I could shock you 64 :-D Love the album, played and played it in the eighties working abroad. Haven't listened to it for about 15 years I reckon, forgot about it but will get Mr Swan to do something technical with the CD so I can have a listen. ( don't have a CD player any more...)

The trend will continue as we both enjoy soul/reggae/blues/ethnic music plus the great bands over several decades 8-)

Have a listen to David Axelrod's Songs Of Innocent album, lovely stuff

Def Leppard - Hysteria

Deep Purple - don't know the name of it! I've got it on purple vinyl, featured Black Night, Smoke on the Water, Child in Time.

:bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

'In Rock' was released as a purple vinyl but Child In Time was the only song on it from those above. Black Night was released as a single only not long after the album came out.

I reckon the ones you are referring to are either the live double album 'Made In Japan' (unsure if it was released on purple vinyl) though '24 Carat Purple' or 'The Very Best Of Deep Purple' also featured all three songs which are both compilation albums of course !

My Woman from Tokyo was also on it I think. Child in Time filled the entire B side. :bear:
