By the way, every time I log onto MoT, and see this thread, the following song earwigs itself into my head

Pontus with a bullet headed winner in the 89th minute, then he takes his shirt off to earn another yellow card in preparation for the play-offs :shirt:

If we play like our last three away matches, then our chances of winning are very limited to nil. I am hoping that Monk realises this and has a plan in mind.

It's a must win for me. It is getting to that point where we have a buffer, but can't afford to drop points.

Geordies are beatable, especially at their place where I think the level of expectation can weigh heavily on them. But as I said in the match thread, we need to play higher up the park away from home and give them something to think about. If we play solely on the back foot, hoping to counter them, then we'll get our arses handed to us!!

Both teams inconsistent at the moment. I think it's anybodies game.

When they were winning every week and I picked Newcastle in the Predict 6, they seemed to lose.

So, I predict Newcastle to win.

I don't think we'll get anything from this game. I just hope we don't get well and truly battered. All the other results have gone against us today and I can see this one going exactly the same way. Hope I'm very wrong. On saying that our lads owe our travelling army of fans a good away day after the debacles at Reading and Brentford....winning tonight would be a good way of thanking thone fans
