Overall tarting up OK would you say Adam? I mean it looks quite tasteful but does it all seem to blend in would you say?

I've just driven past Elland Road and I think the South stand looks really good, much better than all that beige cladding and the East certainly looks improved and not out of place, can't comment on the NE corner as I didn't see it

There are missmatches in that the branding on the South, East and North all match but it's different on the West. I think that is probably supposed to enforce the fact that the West Stand areas are about corporate hospitality etc.

I like the new branding, it machines the changing rooms too and gives a strong vidual identity. The South stand is particularly good though havent had much of a look at the South East corner yet.

Whatever they do they need to sort the seating out, I am both to wide and to long in the leg for 99% of the ground!
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

I've called in the ER shop just now and they're busy putting the finishing touches to the "Side before self every time" vinyls on the windows in the middle of the East stand.
The shop itself was very busy with a real buzz about the place. I suppose if we can't be optimistic at this time of the season then we never will be.

Old standing stadium which accommodated nearly 58,000 fans converted to an all-seater reducing the capacity to under 40k, then the corporate boxes reduced it another 3k

Agree one of the worst stadiums for comfort, no leg-room whatsoever. That's why I prefer to stand in the Kop or South Stand

Don't know where you got that picture from, but the motorway seems to have disappeared, as have the businesses opposite the East Stand.

In fact Wesley Street and Elland Road itself (the road) also no longer exist, therefore I assume that this isn't our ground.

The motorway is there, behind the 5 new taller buildings. Elland Road clearly runs behind the South Stand and Wesley Street is lurking behind the trees next to the open car park.

Ah, I was looking at it from the wrong direction. It would be handy if it had comments pointing out what was what. I don't think the council would be impressed with 5 new tower blocks.

Not sure it would get planning permission as the council have just located their Park and Ride on that land and there is work going on to build the Silver Blades ice rink too.
