Re: Our Next Manager.....
Apparently some reports in Spanish media that they are also considering promoting Pep Clotet.......interesting thought
Out of the list I'm struggling to see any names I really fancy....can't see Ranieri being a real option and Silva has left Hull because he doesn't want to manage in Championship.

Strangely I was wondering this earlier this morning, Jansson and Hernandez were signed because of him apparently, so has an obvious eye for talent but managing is a different ball game not saying he isn't capable but a bit of a gamble.
I'm just praying it's not McClaren
Re: Our Next Manager.....
If Pep does get promoted and gets the job, at least there will be some continuity....
I hope it is not McLaren or Moyes.

Re: Our Next Manager.....
The bookies are hardly ever wrong. Although I wouldn't mind Pep to be given the gig. Knows the players and will build on the steps that we took last season.
Karanka - took a sub standard Boro team and got them promoted - although the football wasnt the best to watch. He also had a few tantrums along the way. Seems like a strange character but if he was able to replicate with us what he did with Boro and get us promoted, then great. Difference is, we are a much bigger club than Boro and when in then Premiership, we wouldn't sink like they did.

Re: Our Next Manager.....
I would love us to get Jokonvic, done a wonderful job at Fulham, making them the most eye catching team to watch in the league last season and with a bit of luck they would have been in the play off final now. Also he has extensive Championship experience, something likes of Silva and Ranieri dont, what with he's current time at Craven Cottage and also previously at Watford.
AR needs to show the colour of he's money and poach him off the Londoners !!

LEEDS AND FOREVER PROUD TO BE !!
Re: Our Next Manager.....
Agree but can't see it happening, definitely don't want Moyes, not bothered that he's ex-scum (for me their best manager for 20yrs ) but the fact his teams are dull, boring and predictableGurj wrote:I would love us to get Jokonvic, done a wonderful job at Fulham, making them the most eye catching team to watch in the league last season and with a bit of luck they would have been in the play off final now. Re: Our Next Manager.....
I wouldn't argue with that decision as I believe Clotet played a major part in our improvement last seasonNorfolkWhite wrote:Apparently some reports in Spanish media that they are also considering promoting Pep Clotet.......interesting thought

Here we go again with the roundabout of failed managers
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Prob 99% of managers out there are either failed or unproven.

Re: Our Next Manager.....
Would like the guy from Fulham but thats not going to happen. Silva was impressive too with Hull.
Grayson would be an option, would be good to see him with a better ownership and management team around him not selling players from under him.
Ranieri is just not going to happen and he had a peculiar one off I thought at Leicester.
Karanka would know what it takes (not good football but effective) as would Pearson (comes with attitude) and Big Sam.
Definitely not Moyes, not MaClaren, nor Pardew.
For me... 'Arry Rednapp (not even on the list)!
