Was only a jokey reply to Gessa & Harry's posts folks

Garry Monk provided us with the best season we've witnessed in a long time

My 'hat-trick' comment was tongue-in-cheek too Leon, but not too much so, not so much for Monk but for those at 'Boro who probably colluded with him to suppress his appointment until after his interview with Radz. He could just have admitted he'd applied for the 'Boro job instead of keeping it under wraps. I don't suppose we'll ever know the truth of that.

Very happy with the fixture list particularly the start of the season a potential chance for Thomas to make a quick start to the season and during the season we don't seem to have a run of very difficult games consecutively at all, it seems very balanced and there is no month of the season where I am thinking we will really struggle because of the quality of opposition we face which makes a nice change.

Funny enough I don't mind 5.30pm kick-offs. I'll be shattered on the way back home as I'm driving for part of the journey

I expect there'll be quite a few Saturday fixtures changed if it's anything like last year - so far our home games comprise -

18 Saturday
1 Monday (NYD 3 pm)
4 Tuesday-

- and the away games are the same, the Monday one being Easter Monday at 3 pm.

Just a guideline Norm to keep us all informed, our fixture list is always very confusing with all the changes :? I didn't know whether I was coming or going last season !

Leon, is there any chance this thread could be pinned to the top of the 'General Chat' list please?

I've had a look in my toolbox & I don't think I have the necessary tools to implement that procedure Norm

I'll have a word with Adam
