We did enough to win this game. Good tempo
and passing. Plenty of positives. Fulham are a good
side so it is a good point. Unbeaten in 3 games.
Leeds in 6th position Boro in 4th
Just got home so a large G&T and same as you Rab let's take the positives from our start to the season unbeaten

We looked like we struggled early on but then gradually edged things although either side could have won. Very honest TC interview after the game and positive to see that he was able to get the team playing better in the second half.

Far better than Preston. Fulham look a decent team, bossed us with slick passing for the first 20 minutes. We then had the better of the first half. Second half more even, though the bias in me says we were slightly the better team. One goal from either side was all it needed and we probably had the better chances. I've since heard that Woods goal was NOT offside !!
All in, a decent performance... and a great atmosphere.

definitely a game to be positive about. Leeds fronted up and nullified the best passing team in this League.
We had the chances and an actual goal but still finish 0-0. Enjoyed the match as both sides played good football throughout.

Wiedwald: 8 (excellent distribution and one on one save. Surely the best passer of the ball in this team)
Ayling 7.5 (Captain's innings)
Shaugnessy 8 (Calm .assured. Great block late on)
Jansson 7.5 (Still to hit his straps but definitely getting there)
Anita 7.5 (calm under pressure)
O'Kane 8.5 (always available, great at ratting for the ball , Great engine, two bad passes all night Countless tackles)
Phillips 6.5 (Don't know why he is keeping Klich or Ronaldo out of the team)
Saiz 8.5 (excellent ball control , sees a pass early, needs an end product)
Hernandez 8.5 (weaved his magic all night, countless nutmegs, Should shoot more)
Alioski 7.5 (very little going forward but a warrior in defence)
Wood 7 (little by way of clear cut chances ,should have scored the one on one)

Dallas 7 (more attacking than normal)
Roofe 6 (offered vert little other than one cross)

Fulham started well & I thought the Cottagers were gonna murder us after the first twenty minutes. Eventually we woke up & grew into the game playing some lovely football, the best we've seen at ER in many years.
Had Wood taken three of his opportunities we could have been looking at our first home win in the championship of the campaign, he's no Allan Clarke or Jimmy Greaves in one-on-one situations, ironically he put his hardest chance away only for it to be judged off-side by the lino :(
Siaz was sensational, a pocket-size bundle of tricks/turns with pace. Hernandez showed he's a class act & young Shaughnessy was outstanding, his last-ditch tackle right at the death saved us from defeat. Wiedwald also made a one-on one save, much more alert last night. Dallas did more in ten minutes than Alioski produced in the previous 80. O'Kane's poorest game so far imo!
All in all a cracking nil-niler with both teams playing good open football. A decent point v a team who going to be at the top end of the table come next April

7 - Wiedwald
6 - Ayling
8 - Shaughnessy
7 - Jansson
6 - Anita
6 - O'Kane
5 - Phillips
4 - Alioski
8.5 - Saiz (MOTM)
8 - Hernandez
5 - Wood
Subs
4 - Roofe
7 - Dallas

What is all this about Alioski not playing well. I just watched the extended highlights
and twice he threaded Chris Wood through on goal... and at 5:40 the boy takes a boot in the
back (welcome to the Championship) Click the link below for extended highlights.

I've no idea, looked good in the first half and sounded ok in the second I'd score him a 7

Didn't look it from that clip

Difficult to tell unless you are sat in a straight line of the Fulham backline

In the first half, (all that I saw) I think that same linesman was on commission for the number of times he waved his flag!!!!

Only watched the 1st half, listened to the 2nd in between things.
Back 4 seemed to do well, especially Shaughnessy (still hope the Harlee Dean talk is true). KP not a huge fan, deflected goal and a tap in aside. Saiz looked lively, Hernandez did ok, Alioski didnt seem to impress from what others have said but if Chris Wood had done his job that would of been 3 assists in 4 games for him, think he will be a key player this season Alioski. Wood, unlucky with a goal disallowed but missed another 1v1 and first half what i saw was distinctly meh, hopefully just a blip. Special mention for Wiedwald, made a decent save hopefully give him confidence, Werder Bremen fans wernt happy he left so must be a good gk there, Rob Green had some awful performances early on to. All in all should of won (wood wasnt offside) but decent performance :-D
Signed
