If Bridcutt goes
Do we replace him with one of the 50 midfielders we have or just buy someone new?

Re: If Bridcutt goes
TC said he wanted to keep him but he wanted regular first team football which he couldn't guarantee him. No ill feeling, always thought he gave his all . Wish he'd gone elsewhere as I can't stand Forest fans they only come 2nd to being the dumbest fans I've met (must be an East Midland thing) .

Re: If Bridcutt goes
It would appear that under TC he is probably 6th choice central midfielder behind Phillips, O'Kane, Vieira, Anita and Klich so I can't see TC needing to buy another midfielder. Whilst I like Bridcutt if he is so far down in the manager's plans then it is best he is sold as otherwise we'd end up simply having players at training who know they aren't really in contention to start. We need to trim the squad of players who don't really have a future and it seems we are beginning to do this with Erwin gone, Antonnson (albeit on loan so maybe they think he has something to offer still if he has a good season at Blackburn) , Bridcutt and Murphy and presumably Doukara and Dave to follow.
Re: If Bridcutt goes
He's signed a three year deal . Fee around £1m

Re: If Bridcutt goes
Good business for Leeds. Nice pay day and removes some wages from and an already top heavy mid field
Made a big difference when he cam in under Evans and added some backbone to the Leeds defence
Good luck to the lad and I hope he does not come back to punch us on the dick

Couldn't see Bridcutt getting another game with the 72 midfielders in our squad
