6 draws in the championship & we win. Shame Wolves & Cardiff scored late winners

Can't be bad :-D

Just once again emphasises the competitiveness of the championship. Great bounce back win for us today as we grind out a win against a tough side. Very important that we grind out these wins rather than getting draws.

Can't believe how average/poor Fulham, Derby & Reading are doing

Boro' should be performing much better

Fulham seem to be a bit of an enigma, superb at times yet should be getting better results.

Boro look to have had a slowish start, like we had last season but better, but I can see them becoming a bit of a juggernaut albeit probably snatching narrow wins and being tight defensively rather than crushing teams.

Reading looked awful last season yet seemed to have a knack for grabbing late wins, presumably after their opponents fell asleep after being bored by Reading's own half possession. Perhaps this season they haven't been getting those wins and as such have become the very average team that they were - they also may be suffering from the play-off final loss hangover that a lot of teams suffer including us when we got relegated the season after losing the play-off final.

Looking as though Sunderland could be going into administration as early as tomorrow. Talk of the main money man taking £85 million from the £150 million owed to him from the £99 million parachute payment. Club shop only selling small amounts of old stock, bars closed as no stock to sell. Not looking good.

Thats a shame, lived that way for a few years in Newcastle, met a few Sunderland fans and like the Geordies they love there football, very passionate, sad for them and to see abother club falling apart due to idiotic mismanagement.

I get no pleasure from seeing other clubs fail (OK maybe scum but that's unlikely ever again). Wearsiders love their football and they were part of our record crowd.

Wednesday 2-4 Sheff Utd

Meaning top play 3rd and 2nd play 4th on Tuesday/Wednesday, very interesting nights ahead.

The Sheffield derby was a great game, enjoyed that. :-D

Both played nice stuff at times and Sheff United deserved the win.

One thing that stood out, Wednesdays defending for 2 maybe 3 of there goals was pathetic. Hope they keep that up.

Not that Tom Lees was a tower of strength either as he headed it against the dutch guy which ended up at Clarkes feet to score :roflmao:

Cardiff fans obviously realise how important Jansson is to our team 8-) the stats are there to be seen that we leak goals when Pontus is missing

Surprised one or two are unaware how good Saiz & Hernandez are or the impact Lasogga has made in his few starts although we knew nothing about them before they joined Leeds

If any Cardiff fans are reading I generally attend all the aways & most home games, unfortunately due to holidays/business I'm missing the game tomorrow. I really enjoyed our wins over the last two seasons although the blues got their revenge when they beat us at ER just as we were in our decline period under Monk. No Pontus that game too !
I'm back to my normal routine at Hillsborough on Sunday, can't wait :-D
