Apparently back in training and back in contention.

Pleased if true.

Bench role however.

Attitude and fitness may be questionable, but he has a touch of quality that our bench has severely lacked recently.

Lasogga & Dallas definitely need to be on the bench as we have no one else who is likely to score a game-changing goal

While i agree he should be on the bench, goals and changing games arent what he has done, ever

Looks fitter, good news.
Certainly looking leaner, there’s a good striker in there somewhere.

Hearing he may have picked up an injury that could keep him out a game or two

Kind of suggests us armchair managers know nothing

Rather worryingly, there is a clip of an interview with the big man on twitter from today, he appears to be on crutches :(

Is he on crutches or just leaning on a fence ?

I really hope he isn't badly injured bearing in mind how many players are missing through suspensions/injuries in our next few games

Instinct was crutches before i read the comments. We know he took a hit and had painkilling spray during the game.

But maybe thats just the natural pessimism of a leeds fan.

With new signings looking increasingly unlikely i hope he is just having a lean on a fence.

Another fine performance from Lassie, the header was real quality.

Only Lewis Grabban, Metaj Vydra and Billy Sharp have a better minutes per goal record then Lassie.

Over a full league season playing every minute of every game he would be on for 26 goals.

Far superior to Chris Wood in his 1st season.

It's the rest of his play that is suspect, lack of movement, holding off defenders. I don't think he's the type of forward that brings others into games

Lassoga was my MOTM today Cjay, worked his socks off & scored a superb header

Thought he played really well, doesnt deserve the stick he gets as his record suggests.

Unlikely as it is with him having a young family and clearly wanting another shot in Germany, I'd be delighted if we could convince him to sign permanent terms in the summer.

When you consider he came to us unfit, low on confidence, the worry of having a pregnant partner in another country and then a newborn child, think he has done exceptional.

Just think if we could get him signed, a full pre season, get his family here with him nice and settled for the start of next season.

Then we could see the Lasogga who was an injury away from being a German international.

The Lasogga we have had with all those issues has 14 games (mins played) 8 goals and 3 assists.

Can't argue with those stats

His goals are not tap-ins, Lassoga has scored some crackers

Thought he was excellent yesterday

Sure he must have also hit the woodwork at leas half a dozen times too with a bit more luck would be well into double figures

Lasogga had an ice pack on his left ankle following the conclusion of the Yorkshire derby.

Hope its not too serious...
