Unlike Monk TC has a plan be B & played three at the back, probably has a plan C, D & E as well

As such I will give the man of the match to TC who once again got his tactics spot on and is really showing his tactical nous and ability to construct game-plans based on nullifying the opposition whilst also being a very attacking force. Against Sunderland I was impressed but was worried would it be a one-off performance (like us v Derby last season), he topped that with the win v Forest as we controlled the game v an in form opposition and could have won by more and then perhaps even more impressive yesterday he was able to get the team playing in such a way as to completely render the opposition's negative tactics obsolete and far from it being a frustrating afternoon with us struggling to break a team down (as we endured so many times lat season even when eventually winning games) we could have had more. 30 shots v 1 wayward shot just shows how dominant we were.

That these 3 results were achieved without Wood speaks volumes as to how far we have improved from last season and it is also remarkable how quickly TC has gelled this team given the huge influx of players. The players are playing with a smile and the fans are seeing us not only win but entertain.
All very true

I gave TC a 10 in my ratings

Can't remember when I last saw such a one-sided match

O'Kane is key, a little terrier

Saiz is unbelievable, a bundle of wonderful skills, tricks, pace & vision. Top quality signing

Roofe has improved beyond recognition under TC

Our players are playing without fear unlike last season

Such a shame your young lad missed the game yesterday, the sort of performance that hooks kids hook line & sinker

1. Lasogga- Comfortably man of the match for me.
2nd and 3rd is really really difficult.
2. Roofe- Best performance for Leeds imo.
3. O'Kane- 2 lovely assists and ran the game for us once again.

Would be unfair of me to vote as I was in Norwich and only had messages from my brother and mate at the game then the highlights on TV after a few beers so not best placed to vote

He's still gutted.
Real pity, he'd have loved it...they'll have to do it all over again against Ipswich for him.

Understand Leon - had to have a little poke back at you - no malice intended - I hope you know that.
Overall, I'm so highly chuffed at this lot. It's bloody unbelievable what's happened this season after Monk dissed us.
TC wanted us badly and we (not initially realising the fact) needed him just as much. I feel like our club won the lottery with the almost embarrassment of riches we now have.

If we get promotion do you think we'll be able to keep Lasogga? Even if we don't, if he helps to get us promoted we'll have had him for the one really important season.

Fingers crossed mate.

I think the only way we will keep him is if we get promoted, 50k per week wage.

This thread is getting really difficult, as each match progresses. Might have to up it to 4 or even 5 options. Long may it continue. From my scratchy stream, I'll go:
1. Lasogga
2. Roofe
3. O'Kane
Very unlucky on Kalvin who also played very well.

Very difficult indeed especially with so many excellent performances

3rd & 4th places were difficult as both O'Kane & Phillips were top draw

It really is great to have the difficulty of leaving excellent players off the best player list rather than the difficulty of trying to pick the best of a bad lot.
Last season was a step up from previous, now the bar has been raised again.

These opening 8 matches couldn't be more different than last season's final 8.

Cheers,
