Yosuke Ideguchi

Post by Gandalf » Mon Sep 11, 2017 10:10 am

Phil Hay reporting that we are chasing 21 year old Japan international midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi who plays for Gamba Osaka in the J League. This is the hopeful Asian January signing that was indicated by Victor Orta in his recent Q & A.

Where he would fit in at the moment is a question I cannot answer.

Don't worry Gandi he'll fit in.

I have complete faith in our new managerial team

Looks a hell of a player

Reports suggest he doesn't meet the criteria for a work permit yet - so a few hurdles to overcome.

Excellent if true because not only does he look a decent player but it will raise the club's profile in Japan and potentially be very lucrative.

Agree Asian supporters tend to follow players rather than a team, even though they are getting into glory hunting these days  so having him here will definately raise our profile out East

Maybe Pablo's replacement for next season? Looks a bit slight, maybe him and Pawel can hit the weight room together.

Do we know each other Haighy ?

I know several Scarborough lads, many use to stand around me in the kop. Travelled on the Scarborough coach a few years ago

Shows how tuned in Radrizzani is. he knows the market in the FarEast from his business dealings so why not tap in by getting a high profile player here to raise our profile. that would sell more than a few shirts in Japan.

you can see how much they love their English football by the crowds that turn up for the Asia cup games and other pre-season friendlies. Lets have some of that.....
The only way is up
