Is that St Ives? Have a mate who lives not far from there and that looks quite familiar.

Very similar to St Ives mate.NorfolkWhite wrote:Is that St Ives? Have a mate who lives not far from there and that looks quite familiar.
We are staying in the Old Ship Inn, Seahouses on the Northumbrian coast which is nothing less than stunning & beautiful, my opening photo was taken from one of the windows in our apartment
Northumbria is a gorgeous secret location, well it was until I advertised it on here
Superb coastline, fantastic scenery, great pubs & restaurants with very friendly natives
Newton-by-the-Sea early this morning

Lovely - sister-in-law lives in Morpeth so we get up that way a couple of times a year, not sure if we've been to Seahouses but did play golf at Bamburgh a few years back.1964white wrote:Very similar to St Ives mate.

Sat on a bench admiring the sea-views like two old fogies after devouring delicous prawn sandwiches for lunch at The Jolly Fisherman pub in Craster

That is an excellent photo since you have got a nice bit of perspective going on as well as the rule of thirds1964white wrote:Sat on a bench admiring the sea-views like two old fogies after devouring delicous prawn sandwiches for lunch at The Jolly Fisherman pub in Craster

We did a bit of shopping in Morpeth on our journey up here Monday.NorfolkWhite wrote:Lovely - sister-in-law lives in Morpeth so we get up that way a couple of times a year, not sure if we've been to Seahouses but did play golf at Bamburgh a few years back.
Had coffee in Bamburgh yesterday
And Bamburgh's stunning castle you can see from miles away
