Damned if he does track back damned if he doesnt.

If he doesnt and we concede then he will get blamed, if he does but then is to knackered to get forward then he gets critical fingers pointed as well.

Hand on heart believe with a more defensive fb behind him (Berardi) Ali would thrive.

He has talent, but if anything his work rate sometimes goes against him, his willingness to cover for Ayling is admirable but he cant do everything down that side.
In no way am I having a go at Alioski or pointing the finger at him tracking back to defend or to cover Aylings wanderings Cjay. The point I was trying to make was the running around chasing lost causes. At one point in the game he was nearly at the halfway line with their goalkeeper in possession of the ball and he set off on such a sprint back towards their keeper when really it was a waste of his energy. I love his enthusiasm and dedication but I would prefer him to save some of his energy for the second half....he's becoming such a crucial player for us. That's all I was trying to say :-D

I understand :-D

He does seem to chase everything, not sure of its of his own doing or his instructions.

The stats for us being a 1st half team back up that the players fade in the 2nd.

Mebbie they need to press but be more selective.

Quiet in the 1st half.

Good in the second and got an assist but set up a chance for Cibicki as well and put in another superb cross.

He's coming along nicely.

Oh he's a first team certainty atm, I have no qualms about that.

Solid . .

His cross created havoc which ended with Cibicki free kick that got the goal.

Worked hard tracking the pacey Pinto.

Attacking threat isn't as potent on the left, but proved himself a team player with his work since Cibicki took the right side.

Work rate 1st class as usual.

But the attacking threat isnt the same on the left.

Either rest him (he runs himself ragged every game) or allow him to go back to the right side.

I wish he'd stop falling over at will :chair: many Leeds fans telling the Alioski to get up. No doubt he heard us at the Leeds end in such a small ground.

Biggest fan.

But needs benching.

He looks exhausted unsurprisingly, doesnt look comfy on the left, takes to much out of his game.

Shown he has a great left foot, is intelligent and when Saiz came on for Cibicki Ali went to the right and linked well with Samu and drove forward through the middle.

Knackered and playing out of position.

Rest him before the boo boys start again

Followed up three average shows with a woeful performance today.

Probably wasn't subbed because there was no adequate replacement to bring on

Made me angry Gianni today, called you a peroxide show pony

Very poor and deserved to be subbed.

Where was the tricky, confident player who was the standout at the City Ground . . .

Respect your opinion Leon.

You see it live.

But imo he is quality, some of the things he has done, cross to Roofe, 3 of his goals, pass to Wood early season were top draw. 2 of Saiz's goals were Alioski assists etc.

Said it before, many many higher profile foreign players struggle 1st season and for all the criticism he is on target for a 10 goal 8 assist season which as a 1st season is good.

But he has struggled recently and certainly deserves benching.

Edit, would Alioski have missed like Roofe given the quality he has shown he has in his left foot.

Hopefully finds some form again.

He has looked exhausted recently.

Rested and with Saiz out he is the only player we have with the pace to get us up the pitch. . . . Unless Sacko plays

Come on Ali . :scarfe2:

Did alright today .his usual hard working self, made some crucial tackles.

2nd goal doesnt happen without him.

Frustrated with his decision making at times but he was good imo.

You're joking

Really poor first half.....runs his nads off but constantly loses the ball in good positions. We need better
