Played as a left back/left wing back.

Wouldn't mind seeing him at right wing back over Dallas, at least he has some defensive positional sense.
Leave out who they were playing on purpose?

Gibraltar are probably the equivalent of a conference team

Ive been his biggest defender on here (with a few other Ali fans). :)

But BCFC was poor, he doesnt look confident imo or that comfortable on the left.

He doesnt want to play as a left winger he hasnt before this season (he said that himself).

But he was snatching at chances, poor control in good areas, just looks shot imo, mentally maybe or physically or both.

In view of my concerns about our attacking predictability i think Ali should be benched for a spell or switched back to his preferred side.

Let him rest maybe get his confidence back ideally, try Clarke (not Harrison) dont see the point in persevering with him tbf

I just wanted to add a few comments as I was at the game on Saturday and sitting a few feet away from where Alioski was standing half the time
On his plus side, i think he has good energy and is like a jack russell snapping at defenders heels and sometimes draws the mistake from them
and that is it
when he has the ball he doesnt use it well or wisely. Cant cross the ball and his shooting is seldom on target
He is either playing in the wrong position or should be dropped

The way i see it from :Saturday is be a bit more positive and Start Clarke for Alioski (even swap sides with Pablo) and may be play Saiz for Forshaw.
Forshaw and Kalvin provide good cover for the defence but we have to work a lot harder to create openings when both play

Nothing changes then Dalton

I'm starting to wonder why Cjay hasn't posted his MOTM up :duno:

Could be it's impossible to include Ali ?

Also Phillips was easily our best player & Roofe up there too

I didnt want to come across as a broken record but as i saw it in black and white on Saturday, i thought i would add my vote.
I cant really see what MB sees in him.

Everyone can see that Dallas and Alioski dont use the ball well. Just dont have the football brain of say Klich, Phillips, Pablo and Saiz

Merry Christmas Ali

Considering the stick he has taken, some deserved tbf but a lot of it not.

He has been brilliant last 2 games since being restored to his favoured role on the right.

His vision is actually really good, some great passes and crosses and unlucky not to have a goal or two. :)

God knows what they feed him because i have never ever seen anyone run as much, most players are blowing out there arse, he's running about like a maniac in the 90th minute.

Good on Ya Ali, hope Bielsa keeps you.on the right.

Left back, center midfield, number 10, right wing, right back, defensive midfield and then left wing.

All in a minute.

I think there quite a number of us '64 that should eat our words mate.
Alioski has been one of our improved players under Bielsa and ok that's been the case with many others too , but he has certainly stepped up and been counted with a never say die and tremendous attitude . We saw it the other night and his commitment has not only staggered me but he had shown his discipline is another improvision much needed aswell.

Indeed Paddy

Point is he was generally very average last season & wasn't really setting the world alight earlier in the season. His new role for Leeds seems to have brought the best out of him providing more consistent performances in the last few months.

Bielsa must love Ali's energy, he has certainly got the best out of our Macedonian blonde bombshell
