I am happy to stop posting Leeds comments and opinions if deemed wrong though, not a lot of point if I'm just an idiot who doesn't know what they're watching
Absolurely not!!

I'm certainly not taking sides here because everyone's opinions and comments are individual and valued, but your comments are very valued by me and others. On occasion I've seen a video clip of something you've described and invariably your comments have been apposite.

On this occasion even Bristol City's manager said Vieira ran the show but Saiz' contribution was massive. Whatever, we won and won well. Please keep posting faaip.

On yesterday's evidence TC stood up to the task & came out with flying colours

His changes :

1) Dropped Pontus for Pennington
2) Played a 4-2-3-1 formation
3) Brought in Vieira to play the defensive midfielder role with O'Kane
4) Pushed Phillips up to play between Saiz & Alioski with KP breaking from the middle three pressing & harrying their defenders
5) No tippy-tappy football with the keeper & CB's as has been the case in most games
6) Not many balls thrown out to his defenders, Lonners just launched the ball up field

All worked a treat I would say

We played Bristol City the way we did against teams on our early season form. Pressed from the front, dominated the midfield which took the pressure off our defence as we rarely had too much to worry about from a Bristol attack who have been scoring goals for fun up until their last game v Burton

Saiz is our star man, he won the game early doors with his two goals, constant running & trickery at the Bristol defence. Unsure how good we'd be without his silky skills. He's a level above the rest

We've got Saiz, Samuel Saiz
I just don't think you understand
He came from sunny Spain
To take us up again
We've got Samuel Saiz :sing:

7 - Lonergan
5 - Berardi
8 - Pennington
8 - Cooper
5 - Berardi
7 - O'Kane
9 - Vieira
8 - Alioski
8 - Phillips
9 - Saiz
9 - Lasogga

Subs - n/a

10 - Christiansen

Berardi with two 5's that means he got a ten an a worthy MOTM with a classy head butt at the end.

All about opinions mate. I was really worried with the introduction of Pennington but I thought he had a really good game, maybe I called it wrong

By all means disagree, just refrain from using the word wrong.

This is what is fantastic about football though isn't it?! We can talk all day about a game and never agree on anything about it. Its people personal opinions, we all have them but it doesn't mean we have to agree with everyone else. Please keep posting faaip, I rarely get a chance to see the games unless I can get a stream or they are on sky so I value everyone's posts and love to see a difference of opinions, its what makes it interesting, It'll be a boring world if we all thought the same thing that's for sure.

Also to add I also read and heard Berardi did put a good shift in prior to the sending off, difficult to justify his reaction but when a player jumps up and aggressively approaches you after a foul with a temperament like he has it was only gonna go one way. Take that away from his game, he wouldn't be the same player that we all love to love. Easy to say as a professional footballer that he shouldn't be acting / reacting this way but its who he is, and we LOVE HIM and will accept that that is part of his game.

Lonergan-7 . .One nervy moment, but did ok with what he had to, distribution a bit better to.
Ayling-8 . . Back to his best, defended solidly and got forward when he could.
Berardi-3 . . Just stupid, really stupid, he should know better and no excuse, not a position we are exactly blessed with options and he really let us down.
Cooper-7 . . solid, handled the threat well and dragged Berardi away like a good captain should.
Penners-7 . .Same as Cooper, coming in for Pontus must be nerve wracking, and he performed well.
Vieira-9.5 . . Brilliant, tenacious, disciplined, all over the pitch, wonderful all round showing.
Phillips8.5. . Credit to him, created chances, got forward, worked hard, not a fan but today you proved me wrong.
O'Kane-7 . .Did ok, having Ronnie there to do the donkey work certainly helped him.
Alioski-8 . .getting back to his early season form, tried to make things happen, also showed his worth defensively on numerous occasions and crucial in the 2nd goal.
Saiz-9 . . .His ball retention is fantastic, a little genius and seems to be getting better and better, bit of luck for his goals but deserved.
Lasogga-9.25 . .Brilliant today, thought he would struggle with Flint and co, but he bossed them, strong when he needed to be, lovely link up play, some nice skills to keep the ball and beat a man on occasion which didnt know he could do, best performance so far, looked a class above.

TC-10
Finally recognized we needed a 3 man midfield, dropped Hernandez away, which many have called for, the Jansson decision though strange has merit, Pontus said himself "i have been s**t", so TC dropped a player who has been in poor form, nothing strange in that, brave from TC, criticized by many (me included) but it was a brave choice and worked out.

Excellent post Lev. Me and my Dad constantly fall out when we watch a game together because we always disgree on everything for 90 minutes.....and as 64 said people depend on faaips comments. In fact I tune in to 'faaip commentary' on a matchday instead of LUTV...I find him extremely informative (hope you're reading this faaip)

It happens around the 3:25 mark.

The forum would be pretty dull if everyone agreed with each other.I agree though with FAAIP when he said that 64 was wrong to use the word wrong....

A great example of divided opinions is Kalvin Phlllips. Unbelievable the amount of stick he gets especially considering he is still young and has come through our ranks.

Kalvin had a cracking game yesterday

I think TC has discovered his best position

Cheers Gessa.

Haha, nice coincidence that yes mate. Problem is I cant see me being able to get away tickets for next few games, even Wolves which is one I badly want to go to, is going to be a struggle with low allocation and probably away tracker being in operation again.

Spot on....wouldnt disagree with any of that really. Love Berra to bits and up that moment of stupidity it was another solid 7 or 8 out of ten effort from him but he just cant keep losing it like this ! Game was in the bag, just walk away or just laugh at the guy's face not butt him !!

Lasogga was immense definitely......much better, link up was class, he was chesting it off to our midfielders, so nonchalantly at times.
Deserved he's goal.

Away formula has been found, must stick to it now - although we must still get past that psychological barrier if we go a goal down, have to be brave enough to battle back.
