Poor today.

Another occasion of a poor game after a great one.

Worked hard but there wasnt any link up play, offered no goalscorer threat.

And his selfishness in going for a 30yard wonder goal when he had 3 teammates in so much space was the most notable thing he did.

There's a greedy mentality setting in with the likes of Roofe, Saiz & Alioski, playing for themselves far too much, annoying me intensely :bang:

Roofe back to his League One standard today :(

That shot boiled my pish . . . Absolutely ridiculous to do that with 3 teammates in clearly better positions.

Wonder if he took the long range shot on as he felt under pressure to score so as to keep justifying his position? Must be tough for him cos he is being judged game by game rather than if we signed another striker and we'd be saying judge him after a few games.

I have a theory Roofe's game is suited to playing away from ER

In fairness our whole style of play is more suited to us playing away from home.

Interesting theory guys , you will know better than some of us . We are more suited for away games and I take your pint of view . Elland road is we all know we have to win and win ugly if you will... the fans are nervous when we are got at especially there so these recent home games we must not slip up . Seems to me we are on a he right side of the track and looking for top 6 again.
No more silly points dropped at home will be crucial me thinks.

It is tough.

But he should be adapted by now and as the lone front man he will get judged game by game.

Ekuban did and so did Lassie.

You dont have to score to have a good game, Ekuban was incredibly unselfish.

Another poor game.

Not entirely his fault as he isnt a lone frontman.

To lightweight for that, not consistent enough to play that role.

3 decent chances wasted, a chance to play in teammates but tried to score from 30yards.

Afraid as has been said he is good for the odd game but not a 1st choice.

To many poor games.

Thought Roofe did alright.

Worked hard, tried to hold the ball up.

Didnt trouble the goalkeeper though and has taken 9 shots in 3 games and hit the target once.

Credit to Roofe today.

Didnt see our first.

But he did well overall, the 2nd was excellent from Alioski, Roofe and Lassie. Really battled for that 2nd.

Did well today.

Good movement, worked hard, nice finish.

Not his biggest fan but was impressed today, admittedly it was against a poor side.

Id imagine he has a good goals to minutes played ratio this season but I just can’t accept he is good enough
