That was pretty painful to watch - Eriksen hit form and 3 goals.

Bit like I imagine watching Leeds must have been like this last few games.

I feel for the Irish - both teams tried their best and just flat didn't get the breaks.

I suppose some would say they didn't quite have enough to get over their opponents, but I think any chances they had just didn't go as they could have. A goal for Norn Iron and another for the Republic and you have 2 different games.

Nice one Harry. I didn't realise Jedinak was an Aussie.

Cheers, he is indeed and a very good player too.

We weren't at our best during the Asian qualifying campaign and so had to play off against Honduras. We played well over the two legs and deserved our win.

Harry I'm glad for you and apologise for not commenting on your country's exploits.
How insular could we have been to miss that.

Congrats anyway - I hope the socceroos do well.

You understand, of course, that the good wishes have already expired if you play England at football, as they would also if we're talking Rugby Union, Rugby League, Cricket, Dwarf Tossing or Tiddlywinks! :)

LOL, but they missed out  - that's the benefit of being a migrant, you get to support two teams

Ta - you could always support Denmark as they knocked out your local rivals
