No he is not!!!
he puts himself on the line every time he plays, you have to look a long way to find a harder working player who does give his all every week, and you certainly have to look a lot further than Alioffsideski who is nearest to him in terms of work ratio...
Whilst I agree with you Hector - he certainly gives his all for the Leeds cause, he sometimes defends with a "do or die " mentality which will lead to him seeing red on a regular basis in today's game. I always get twitchy when he's yellowed and think need to get him off now before we're down to 10.
I can't see MB letting GB go unless there are plenty of reserves for the defence. GB is useful to have as a squad member being able to fill in anywhere in that area and we all know MB likes to have players who can play in numerous positions and he even started last season with him and Cooper as preferred centre backs.
With correct refereeing his red against Derby wouldn't have happened. He is a decent defender, a useful squad player and a committed presence in the dressing room.

This
He was huge at the start of the season and is clearly very passionate about the club.
I personally wouldn't get rid of any of the permanent members of the current first team squad this summer. Add to a few positions and replace anyone we can't keep hold of (e.g. Jansson).
I think most people would have started him for the second leg, and then changed their mind after the event. His versatility is a huge plus in a small squad. Without checking all his red cards at least 2 shouldn't have been, the one v Derby and think there was one where he was sent off for retaliation after being elbowed in the face (think it was against Leon Best but may be wrong).
and he is very good in the air. Thing about a lot of big men is they don't jump very high. It's why corner-backs are often better when smaller even though their job is to shut down 6'3 plus receivers..

Wont be long before the ref starts flashing those cards at him. ...
