You Brexiteers finally sent some of your fake polystyrene ball snow over to us in Belfast :P

About 10 cm of snow in Greece too with temperatures below zero at night and early in the morning. It means that i'll be well prepared for my trip to England on Monday for a week and for two games starting on Wendesday against Wolves ( hope the game goes ahead as planned)

We are having a mild -25C in central Finland.
I remember when I lived in the UK that 5cm of snow
on the M11 had traffic backed up for a couple of days.
The Uk just does not have the infrastructure and snowploughs
to deal with even the meager amounts of snow it gets.
And cars are not equipped with winter tyres, so cars are sliding all
over the shop, cos drivers have never been taught to drive in
icey or snowy conditions.

Studs or friction rubber. In Finland it is compulsory to change
to studded tyres once the winter begins and you can only take them off
when the snow goes away. Nokia (the phone company were famous
for making tyres before they made phones)

Well.... common sense has prevailed, I am officially giving up £50 this morning, as I am not going to risk going out on these icy ungritted roads with my little low profile tyres. It has now been snowing for 90 mins (yes I was up before 0500) and is getting progresively heavier, so the rayburn has been lit so the central heating can be on, and lots of films downloaded... I can't really go out and chainsaw more wood as it would be too wet by the time I finished...

Grrrrrrrrrrr

Bring back global warming I say!!!!
