We wake up to a layer of snow (& still falling) here in East Yorks :(

I remember the last bad winter a few years ago when the first fall of snow arrived on the 25th Nov.

Hope we're not in for a bad winter with this early flurry this morning

Anyone else got snow ?

Cold and sunny here in Leeds, but apparently a 40% chance of snow later this afternoon. Hopefully not, as we have a meal booked at the Ryther Arms tonight, and the country roads to get there are not good.

No doubt you will at those prices

Looks like a nice atmospheric pub & the food is obviously top notch but those starter/desserts prices are way over the top. Jill & I eat at some top eating places for much less !

I'd go there for a treat though :-D

Snow at Woodall Services about 9pm on our journey home from London last night

Looking at the BBC News this morning Birmingham/Midlands is snowbound

Just had pictures sent to me on my phone of heavy snow from our good friend in Abagavenny, Monmouthshire

Hopefully we are getting the tail-end of the snow here in East Yorks as it is sleeting now !

Didn't reply sooner as i was out sledging with the kids. 2 hours sledging is more tiring than a days graft.
School's closed today too.

Year 6 primary, not looking forward to BIG school next year, heard they stick your head down the toilet and flush it and that's just what the teachers do.
