It's a conundrum liggy.
I agree we need to leave the EU asap but the NI/Republic border seems to be a big sticking point and one they don't seem capable of resolving. It shows the inflexibility of the EU that it can't make allowances for a special circumstance that's existed for a very long time, long before the EU existed.

Ireland doesn't want nor deserve a border.
It's an island and certainly does not require no Eurocrats /bureaucrats making a mess of somewhere so small . As a man once said it's a rather small country for any border. This man wasn't Irish nor British in fact a very big man from the United States , and Texas no less. Now that's probably needs and deserves a border.

Would dread to think what sort of a country we would have if laws were only passed by referendums !! :shock:
