Personally, I am grateful for any efforts the moderators make on our behalf. Moderating this site represents an investment of time and effort I can't make, so I appreciate other people finding the time to do it.

We've actually gor 25 moderators, we've just loaned most of them out to a Cultural Leonesa forum.

Sadly I have had to return as despite me going to go there for a 6 month loan they would only let me log on to their website for 8 minutes per week.

Well... the 2 with lots of votes from the many members on here who feel strongly about this should continue.
The others should step down from being mods and then a nomination and vote for 1 more new mod should happen.

Sounds good. I would suggest that everyone wishing to apply to be the third moderator should say so and then everyone on the forum can vote one in from the list of applicants.

That could work, or each person can nominate up to 2 choices, and if any of the choices don't want the job they can be removed from the list, and then we all vote for 1 only.

But of course, the 3 current mods need to step down first....
