This is from an article online who interviewed a Brugge journalist....

“Technically he’s not the best but he’s a strong character, he’s physically strong, and is rather hard in the duels, he has a fierce tackle and can be impulsive at times.”

We’ve signed Berra’s brother

Should be one of our best players. Great signing and comes from a successful team. Division A champions in Belguim where he played 31 times and got 6 yellow cards. The site says he is right footed?

Did alright i thought in difficult circumstances. Cross for the 2nd goal. Made a block for the 1st Wall goal , unfortunately they still got the cross in but dont think can fault him really today.

Not bad for a 1st game

Yep looked the part and to be honest a player rated by a good international side should be plenty good enough for the Championship.

Starting 11

BPF, Ayling, Jansson, New CB, Pearce
Alioski Vierra, Hernandez, Klich, Roofe
New CF

Not so good today, thats ok though, cant expect perfect performances all the time.

Should have done better for the 1st, but so should Roofe, they take equal responsibility.

Yesterday was awful.

Out of position, indecision, panicky.

Give the benifit of the doubt, but he must improve fast.

Didn't he play left back?

Yes, mean he was out of position as a left back, to narrow for the 1st goal etc.

I notice that the knives are out already for De Bock. He has only been sub-standard for a couple of games, and has only been in the country for seven games. He looks comfortable on the ball, so let's give him a chance to acclimatise.
