Over the decades a lot of bad stuff has started in California but I can’t blame the State for this abomination.
Supermarket chain Iceland has said it will eliminate or drastically reduce plastic packaging of all its own-label products by the end of 2023.
One of the great scourges of our time. 2023 is better than the unbelievable 2040 from the government. I have complained for a few years now, in writing, to some manufacturers who shrink-wrap or shape-wrap their products in this lethal (as waste) poison.

However, plastic has its uses – if you ever fly in a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, its windows are bigger than usual and its range is so great because it’s so light yet strong. This is mainly because it’s mostly made of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic, which is going to make future aircraft disposal a little more of a problem.
England cricketer Ben Stokes has been charged with affray after a fight outside a Bristol nightclub
What a stellar bloke! 11 October - Stokes loses his sponsorship deal with sportswear brand New Balance. Stokes apologises to Katie Price and her disabled son Harvey for a video that showed him imitating a TV clip of the youngster.
Stoke City have appointed former Aston Villa and Norwich boss Paul Lambert as manager.
No interest.
The Cranberries lead singer Dolores O'Riordan has died suddenly at the age of 46, her publicist has confirmed.
Tragic at that age really
