All in all: an unbelievable game. From aweful to great fightback and bein punished for running out of steam.
BUT: not good enough for a top 6 place.

Damn, damn and damn again

I'd been composing my final whistle brilliant fightback post when all of a sudden we lost.

Yeah, credit to TC for the tactics 2nd half and the players, but its a loss, its 3 points dropped, its 3 points outside the playoffs and down to 10th

Not sure what to say tbh, won the second half after the ref fucked up the first half. Hated the substitutions when we were leading.

Just have my questions in regard to first half tactics. Well, signs that we may challenge seriously next season with 2-3 quality additions.. (Fulham are on a real run and others are gathering momentum...can`t see us catching up.)

I suppose if we are honest we dont really have the players to deal with Millwall physically anyway.

We have such a hard run after Hull that i worry for us now. :(

Good to see that TC was able to come up with answers at half time. For me the problem was that we scored the third goal too early and it gave Millwall the opportunity to start coming at us again after we had dominated the second half. No problem with the defensive subs, Lasogga especially looked dead on his feet and Millwall were well on top at the time.

Despite the defeat I take the positives in that Lasogga showed again what he can do and if we can keep him involved in the games he will score goals - the key with him is that he wants to be involved all the time and if he isn't he quickly becomes disinterested which simply makes the problem worse.

Great effort second half but it sums up our season. Just not good enough.
Poor subs again from TC and not for the first time.

Shog comes on and we concede twice.

Shog comes on in midfield and we concede vs Ipswich. . . . . .

At least the team showed it has a collective pair, but bad subs and not using some of his best assets shows TC's current limitations.
Fair dos to Millwall - they turned up, did what they had to do and punished us. I'm sure they deserved the win in the end.

Not sure what his role was supposed to be...we would have needed a midfielder who could run non stop the last 15 minutes and able to keep the ball enabling some breathing time.
Whatever...the late `onslaught` did seem to correlate with our substitutions though, but maybe just coincidence. And Roofe and Lasogga needed replacing whatever I guess...they were `empty`.

From reading about him that does seem to be exactly what Forshaw can do.

Would have preferred Anita over Shog. Only reasoning i can think off is his height. Beckham thats all he has going for him old Shog.
