Lassie- He looked a class act yesterday, he needs to do this more.

Wiedwald- Made some crucial saves, im warming to him.

Roofe- He ran his butt off while he was on, goal and an assist, cant ask for more.

I'd have gone:
Lasogga as he worked hard, controlled balls up to him and laid them off, he kept getting in good positions, and when we finally gave him the ball where he wants it (to feet between penalty spot and edge if eighteen yard area) he scored with two lovely timed strikes.
Hernandez second, because he was all over the pitch, and always served to be available.
Weidwald third, as he made some damned good saves.
Winners never quit! Quitters never win!

Probably the only player to play well all the time he was on the pitch

I would have had to abandon this MOTM topic if we'd been judging on our first-half performance

Depends if you mark him down for the two bad misses which probably would have killed Millwall stone dead. I didn't

Agree he should have put those chances away but Lassoga's overall play was a massive improvement on his previous form. Roofe did really well creating the Lassoga's first & nicking our second goal but tbh Roofe like the rest of the team didn't come alive until the 2nd half

That may be true, but I weren't there to witness it and feel it, so I have to judge by a crappy youtube stream that was more out of focus on my laptop than in focus.... :P

Roofe was absolutely everywhere most of the game. No Roofe we don't get back in and no Roofe we lose that 4-1
