o/t Well done Kyle Edmund

Post by HarryofOz » Tue Jan 23, 2018 6:45 am

Yorkshireman Kyle Edmund (ranked 40 going into the tournament) beats 3rd seed Grigor Dimitrov to advance to the semi-finals of the Australian Open. He will play the winner of the Rafa Nadal v Marin Cilic clash.
We're going up like there is no gravity!

With Rafa's retirement he'll play Cilic. Heck of an achievement Harry. Mind, to be 40th he's won a few matches in his time.
The Fed's still on track but they're all tough matches at this stage.

Brilliant result for young Kyle Harry. I've been watching this young man develop his game over the past few years. From Beverley as well! True Yorkshire grit. He seems to have well and truly emerged from Andy's shadow....and what a terrific forehand he's got.

He certainly has 64, even made it to the six o'clock news. I think he had some sort of injury in the semi's, which was a shame.....it's the Davis Cup next for Kyle.....GB v Spain. It's a great tournament to watch because of the team work and it's the one tennis tournament where the crowd are allowed to get a bit rowdy.
