Post by 1964white »

Saiz, Berardi & Cooper still suspended. Ayling, Ekuban & Shaughnessy all injured.

So which starting XI does Heck go with at Bramall Lane ?

4-1-4-1 if he plays the same system as Barnsley but I'd rather see him fit a system to the players. De Bock cannot play wing back, he's very Beradi like

----------------------Weidwald------------------------------

Anita - Jansson/U23 CB - Pennington - De Bock

------------------------Vierra---------------------------

Alioski------ Forshaw-----Roofe/Roberts-----Hernandez

------------------------Lassoga------------------------------

Looking at his formation at Barnsley it seems he played with :

Two CB's
Two wing backs
One defensive midfielder
with two CM's & a winger on both sides of the midfield

As a full back yes. He's said he doesn't like playing wing back too. He's not a good crosser of the ball. If Heck wants a wing back he could use Alioski there or Tom Pearce both of whom are attacking backs but untried and untested...Think teams would find it too easy to get behind us with Beradi/De Bock at wing back

Wouldn't be surprised to see him go 4-2-3-1 at the start. He hasnt had long and its what the players know. Maybe sacrifice some of the less mobile players for more legs and more adaptability.

. . . . . . Wiedwald . . . . . .
Anita Jansson penny de bock

. . . . .vieira . . Forshaw

Ali . . . . Phillips . . . . . Dallas

. . . . . . .Roberts/Roofe. . . . . .

Lots of energy for the high press.

Easily adaptable, can go 4-3-3 or 4-1-4-1 comfortably during the game.

He was running around the training pitch with the rest of the players if you take a look at the Heck interview I posted up this morning. Also a couple of LU sites are saying he is fit to start

His left foot is peachy, scored some lovely goals, he hasnt gor a right foot, but that hasnt stopped Messi :) Macedonian Messi.

Stuart ( i have barely scored any goals in 100 plus appearences) Dallas and Hadi (should have been an athlete ) Sacko. Ones poo ones average.

Lets hope Heck gets the best out of all our so called inconsistent/average players

Radz has already hinted the next three months will determine which players remain & have a future at ER

We have most of them on long contracts (Lassoga won't be here next season) so moving them out won't be easy. To start with what's the loss on Sacko?

Well Sacko cost nearly a £2m fee then there is his contract terms to consider.....multiply that loss by several other average signings & we have lost significant dosh, that's why I keep banging on about taking the cup competitions seriously rather than constantly throwing monies down the drain

Totally agree re the cups, a weakened team is disrespectful to your opposition. If it's disrespect we're talking about

Hopefully that is a subtle threat to Orta, seeing as thats his area.

So Jansson trained.

Roberts still not fit, well done Orta, a signing who may be ready next season . . . . . . . .

Still cant see how he fits Saiz and Pablo into his favoured 4-4-2 and 4-1-4-1 formations.
