If you ever took up bowls Swannie, you'd find it's like participation in any sport it becomes compulsive, it also keeps the old bones/muscles supple

We lose our unbeaten run of 14 matches in the Evening Pairs League in a pulsating game that changed hands three times in the final three bowls of the last end.

John looked like he had snatched a draw for us only for his son to deny us a point with his last wood.

Cracking match for those who were watching the game, credit to the opposition the best I've seen them play, both are very good bowlers
