On fire tonight particularly in the first 9 ends as we romped into a 17-5 lead, the final 9 ends were much more even with the match finishing a 26-14 victory for John & I

After a unusual stuttering start to our afternoon triples season losing 3 of our first 5 matches I didn't go into today's game exuding confidence as we were playing the champions who had won their first six matches this season.

I changed the order of play today with me taking on the skipping role again. At 8-1 down I did wonder if I had made the correct decision even though we weren't playing badly. Time for a team talk with an emphasis on playing a more tactical game, it worked a treat as we came back to lead 11-8. Jack High drew level at 11-11 after 12 ends however we regained our composure to go on & win the match 20-13 producing a shock victory against our bogey team.

John & I maintain our winning run in a game where we were 6-11 down after 11 ends.

We never panic always keep our nerve even when we are not getting the rub of the green, we show a similar resilience to Bielsa's Leeds with our quality shining through in the end

We played like true champions over the last 7 ends as we dominated the play to win easily 28-11

Another victory in the Evening Pairs League to maintain & take our unbeaten run into the 2019 fixtures. A bit disappointed with my game tonight which I put down to tiredness as life is pretty hectic right now & will be until Christmas eve I suspect, struggled to stay awake at times which is not good when playing a sport. 6/10 for me, thankfully Hoof was in sparkling form as we got over the line 18-12 in the end.

A huge victory in our local triples league beating one of our Middleton teams 47-6 rocketing us up from 7th to 3rd place in the table. A bowls certificate will be sent to us in the post from the Bowls Association as we scored a 9 on one end, a rare occurrence

All three of us played well although the Ready Salted team were very poor today, really felt for them tbh, not easy to enjoy a game when you're getting battered

My evening pairs team John & Pam kept up our unbeaten run for the season with a easy 25-6 victory yesterday

I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms as my next bowls match is not until 10/1/19, that's three weeks since my last game due to the festive period & cancellations.

Golf is one of the few popular sports I haven't played Joe.

I started playing bowls as a 48yo, many young lads & lassies playing bowls these days

John & Pam keep our unbeaten run going with a comfortable victory 21-12 in the Evening Pairs League last night

A early rearranged start of 10am today saw Don & I knock in another high score winning our 11th consecutive match 30-5

Another poor show & defeat for our triples team losing the match on the final end 15-16

I changed our order of play for our Triples match this afternoon which worked a treat as we put in our most comprehensive team performance of the season thrashing Driffield Town Tigers 41-9

Today's victory followed up Don & I's 26-9 win in the Aussie Pairs League yesterday maintaining our twelve match unbeaten run this season
