We've been the much better team tbf. Apart from starting Ekuban I'm coming round to Heck a little more.

I've seen way too many games get won buy the supposedly bad team to worry about who we should beat...Remember the Leeds legends of the seventies losing games against teams we should have comfortably beaten...football just doesn't work that way

This is a weds team missing about 8 first team players, Forestieri, Hooper, Van Aken, Fletcher, Westwood,Hutchinson not fully fit, Bannan not fit, Sean Clare, Glenn Lovens, this is a 2nd string side

Full time.

May find positives but this is a Weds side missing so many first team players, put it into perspective, not good enough once again.

We're missing Ayling/Saiz/De Bock/Cooper at least ourselves

Bad result, good performance though. Pearce outstanding second half.

There best 2 best mids not fully fit, Hutch and Bannan, There first choice strikers not fit, Hooper and Fletcher, Jordan Rhodes didnt play either, Forestieiri, Kieren Westwood, there 4mil defender Van Aken, there captain Glenn Loovens. Kieran Lee as well, basically most of the side that beat us 3-0 isnt there.

Sorry but if this was a 1st choice weds side maybe could find positives, but to lose to one with that many missing? not good enough.

Yes, Leeds lost to an injury ravaged Wednesday side.

BPF - 7 - 2/3 good saves, couple of dodgy moments
Beradi - 7 decent game especially going forward
Pearce - 5/8 - Recovered from a poorish first with a performance to lift us all. We could have our attacking left back
Jansson - 7 - Solid, took himself out of the game with a missed header for their second
Pennington - 4 - Come back soon Coop, he's been a bust for us, bullied for the winner
O'Kane - 5 - Can't recall a tackle so will be interesting to see the stats. One very good pass Ekuban screwed up but anonymous again
Forshaw - 7 - Solid game and one of our more dangerous players
Alioski - 7 - Too much running into blind alleys but caused problems at times. Needed something from him to come off
Ekuban - 4 - Little control, wasteful but does create space Lassoga doesn't. Bad day at the office and needs a spell in the U23's
Hernandez -5 - Very wasteful, too much died with him today
Dallas - 5 - Put in a shift but again lack of inspiration, type of player you want on the bench

Grot - 7 - What Ekuban should have been, a spell in the U23's seems to have worked
Lassoga - 6 - He's always going to be a flash player, you get 1/2 moments of brilliance with long period of nothing..the definition of a poacher
Phillips - N/A

Hek - 7 - Lassoga should have started, maybe Vierra but if you criticize the non use of Vierra you absolutely have to condemm the non use of Klich, loved the FK, should have scored from that Ekuban. Subs were effective ish

Playing OFK balances it all out though.

WhatTheHeck sums it up... If you make mistakes then you loose the game.
Does that apply to himself???

This Sheffield Wednesday side were the worst side I’ve seen at ER all season. They looked like a pub team in the first half making mistake after mistake and not looking interested. We had all the possession and created chances but composure was lacking in front of goal and some of our passing left a lot to be desired. Forshaw and Hernandez were the driving force but balls in to Ekuban and Alioski were wasted as there control was poor.
Second half much the same until Wednesday had what seemed to be their first attack and it resulted in a goal. Hecky made changes and got the leveller and I thought it would end in a draw until Pennington had other ideas... another dismal day at ER and a cold one.
