Norwich vs Leeds (team selection and rating)

Post by rab_rant »

Just shows the level of enthusiasm when nobody has started this thread yet and it is Saturday morning
Word of the day : Ennui - a feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction arising from a lack of meaningfulness or excitement.

My team.

I would have done and it's less to do with ennui regarding the team than ennui regarding the forum. But at a wedding today (I really hate these things, I've never owned a suit to start with and look like an idiot wearing one) So no commentary today folks sorry

Maybe for Heckingbottoms future not totally irrelevant. Get thrashed today against Norwich and losing last game could be decisive if Radz hasn`t made his mind up allready.
I`ll go 2:1 for Leeds.

Some strange decisions as usual.

Why drop a young cb who has done well largely, especially after he scored an unfortunate own goal? Cant be good for his confidence.

Why tweet out Ayling and Edmondson and then they dont make the squad, why make them travel at all?

Saiz and Alioski must improve, they offer no threat going forward.

Philipps great Goal. All in all so far a game played in a `friendly` mode.
Both teams little thrat going forward. Definitaly our main problem: how can we score
more Goals?

Another loss of possession from Viera leads to Norwich goal. When will he learn?

1:1 Hoolahan freak deflected shot just before HT.
One must really fear for next season and where our goals will come from.
Saiz poor in that driving roal behind the striker. Hernandez and Alioski also
too little threat. Definitaly Need some new players for up front.

But had a bit better game in comparison to the last games. Looks as if he has no confidence.

Still no clean sheet for Peacock-Farrell.

Lonergan only had one in that spell where he played, too.

I think Wieldweld has 12 this season. Is there something subtle in his game that makes a difference or is it just down to luck?

As it can`t be down to the quality of the keepers it must be down to how good we and/or the opposition played. A bit of luck or bad luck plays ist part too...but never to such an extent that it would cause such stats.

Wieldweld had a good back 4 in front of him, something BPF hasn't had, I think that makes a lot of difference
