Good end of the season. We looked already a better team with Forshaw and Ayling.
But a lot to be done.

Good performance, looked better balanced without the three flair guys vying for position and Phillips as number 10 played better than Saiz has since his return.

BPF - 6 - Nothing to do,
Ayling - 8 - Still a little suspect in defence but good return
Jansson - 7 - Solid and only a half of football
Cooper - 7 - solid has been missed
Pearce - 8 - Better first half but there's a lot of talent there and he looked more settled

Alioski - 6 - Could have been better and finished strong
Vierra - 9 - Pulled the strings today, a number of high quality passes opened things up
Forshaw - 7 - Linked Defence and offence well
Phillips - 8 - Excellent today in the role he's born to play
Roofe - 8 - Good goal, ran at defenders and created opportunities

Ekuban - 5 - One nice pass out of defence but if we had a recognized striker on the park that's 4-0 minimum

Pennington - 6 - Untroubled
O'Kane - 5 - Not really on long enough but lost possession a couple of times
Edmundson - 6 - Looks a unit, sharp half chance but still very raw as one would expect.

Gary Monk's 16-17 side would have finished 7th this season too...on goal difference.

BPF-7 . .Nothing to do, gets 7 for a cleansheet.
Ayling-8 . .Makes me nervous, but largely untroubled by a poor QPR side.
Jansson-7 . .Did ok, but didnt really have much to do anyway
Penny-7 . .Same as Jansson
Cooper-7 Same as the other 2.
Pearce-9 . .Thought he was excellent, defended well, got forward when he could.

Vieira-9 . .Showed his creativity today as well as his defensive qualities.
Phillips-7 . .Lucky goal but a goal nonetheless, looked composed, some nice touches. Deducted a point for another stupid card.
Forshaw-8 . .Controlled the play well, a calming influence in among the two energizer bunnies.

Alioski-7. . Worked hard, bit disappointing offensively, but good work to set up Edmondson which was unlucky to go over.
Roofe-8 . .Nice goal, ran at defenders, did well, still doesnt convince me however as a 1st choice.

Ekuban-5 . .Been patient with Caleb, but he was on holiday today in his head with the QPR lads.

O'Kane-na . .Gave the ball away a few times, thats it.
Edmondson-6 . .Keen, very unlucky not to score, a tank for a 16 year old.

Positives.
Clean sheet.
Tom Pearce improving with every game
Ayling back.
the 3 lads in midfield playing well, looked a better balanced side.
Ryan Edmondson coming on, gave the fans a feel good moment.
Nice goal from Roofe.
Edmondson sending the QPR lad flying.
A crap second half of the season ends on a good note.

Negatives
QPR were there in body only today, there minds were elsewhere.
Should have scored more based on the above point
It cant paper over the cracks, i credit Heckingbottom for the win today but it shouldnt save him from the chop.

Much work to do for Radz and Orta.

Gentlemen, Thank You once again for all your comments and match reports throughout the season that bring the game to life for me. It hasn't been a brilliant season for leeds United, but I have enjoyed your company immensely.....so much better that Eddie and Thom.

I listen to matches on Radio Leeds swan, Noel Whelan and the gang  :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Pleased to end on a win and delighted for Bailey to get his first clean sheet. Worried that this will give him an undeserved stay of execution. 8 defeats from 16, 4 wins, 25% win ratio, dropped 3 places, ended on a negative goal difference and wants to sign half of relegated Barnsley. Hopefully he'll be gone by tomorrow and we don't waste 10/15 games next season when we're so far adrift.

Didn't give Dalby, Rey or Clarke a chance.

You can't throw all the kids in at that same time

He has done what no other manager/coach has in many years by giving Peacock-Farrell, Pearce, O'Connor & Edmondson a chance to show their colours. Maybe he doesn't think the likes of Dalby, Rey or Clarke are quite ready yet !
How many young kids did TC throw into the first team when we endured two ruts under his management ?

Not a very good argument against him though ....you've done better work.

The kids were used at Newport with disastrous consequences.
The kids along the back four were a result of injuries and suspensions.
He is not a tactical genius for giving the kids a go, the reason plain and simple
was that the changes were forced on him, cos there was nothing else he could do.
