Captain Ayling or Bartley if he comes to us.
oh yeah, if Bartley signed he'd be a great option as captain too. would be a terrific signing

Seeing as with the average home gate and prices, turnover must over £1m per game one would have thought you could pay a few bob to decent players who want to wear the short with pride and graft making things finally happen for their club. The mighty Leeds Utd.
Anyone knows that, signing for Leeds, trying in games and succeeding most of the time you quickly become a god!

Harvey best of those for me.

Afternoon Dalton, I'm sure that playing for Leeds WAS a huge lure in the 70/s and again in the early 90's but in the last 15 years with all the off field problems we had had let alone the crap we have signed, are Leeds still a major draw?

I bumped into Gordon Strachan who at the time was Manager at Southampton.

At this time he was being linked to the vacant hot seat at ER.

I cheekily asked him when he was joining Leeds. He told me I'd be absolutely crazy to manage Leeds in their present predicament. He then told me he would not go anywhere near them....

I agree with what you are saying. It all comes from the inner workings of the club not the fans.
The fans would make it like that, but they dont get a say and managers and players simply dont last very long either sacked or sold for profit

Sad agreeing on that really. I guess i was thinking as a fan

If you look at the mess we were in 3/4 years ago.

We were hemorrhaging 1m a week, our academy was close to closure, we didn't even have any scouts!

danhirons wrote: Thu May 17, 2018 1:07 pm I think he is. Also, TC must have thought he was captain material as he made him VC.
Ah yes but where we differ is I think TC was fairly clueless as a manager. So making Cooper C and Ayling VC doesn't impress me much. At the time the occasion he did step in as captain he was a poor captain.

imo
