Re: Championship 18/19 - Tonight's Matches
Excellent result for Villa, Dean Smith has had a great start getting good results in some tough games, Birmingham, Derby away and Boro away.
On paper if he can get them firing there attacking players are as good as anyone in the league, better then most.
But its there defence imo, can you imagine the hysterical reaction if we conceded 5 at home.
Dont think you can outscore teams all season (having to score 2 3 4 a game to win), and i dont think there defence is upto it.
However if they strengthen that in January (lord knows how FFP should be breathing down there necks from the article i read). But if they can get that defence sorted then theu will take some stopping imo.

Re: Championship 18/19 - Tonight's Matches
I was at the game again yesterday and I’m amazed they are top, absolutely nothing special, you look at the likes of Villa, WBA and Boro - be much more worried about playing them. Canaries have been on a great run but I’ll make a bold prediction and say they won’t make the playoffs.
Rotherham didn’t look a bad side, well organised and unlucky not to go 2 up when they hit inside of post and it went right across the goal and came out. Not sure Norwich would have got the win if that goes in.

Beaten Smith's Villa, got 4 at Swansea, beaten Forest away beaten Boro.
Yet we absolutely battered them.
Can Norwich fans explain whats happened?

Agree Norfolk I reckon the canaries have had a golden period, probably peaked too early & unsure if they'll maintain their good run. I know you haven't been impressed when you've seen them, we certainly made them look daft back in August.NorfolkWhite wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 3:00 pm I was at the game again yesterday and I’m amazed they are top, absolutely nothing special, you look at the likes of Villa, WBA and Boro - be much more worried about playing them. Re: Championship 18/19 - Tonight's Matches
Full time Brentford hold WBA thereby keeping a 4 point gap between us and 3rd place
Re: Championship 18/19 - Tonight's Matches
Great result for us that
4 of the next 5 very winnable.
Note WBA didnt sit back all game and give Brentford 70% of the ball.
Level of fear teams have of us is both flattering and frustrating.

Re: Championship 18/19
I'm looking forward to this!
Re: Championship 18/19
WBA vs Villa tonight.
Look at those front lines.
Phillips, Barnes, Gayle and Rodriguez vs Bolasie, El Ghazi, Abraham and Grealish.
Villa still have Hogan and Kodjia on the bench!!!!!
We really are far behind those 2 in squad terms.

WBA 1-1 Villa
Good game this, both look dangerous in attack dodgy at the back (as expected).
Perfect for us if it ends this way.
Give us the chance to put 7points between us and WBA and 10 between us and Villa.

Villa take the lead
Re: Championship 18/19
WBA 2-2 Villa.
Villa should have won that on chances, Jay Rodriguez channels his inner Kemar Roofe and punches the ball in the net in the dying minutes.
Villa wernt short of luck themselves with there 1st taking a double deflection.
Now do the bizz against QPR tomorrow Bielsaaa
