Re: Championship 18/19 - Reading v Derby tonight
Did Vydra feature?
Re: Championship 18/19 - Reading v Derby tonight
Wonder what will end up happening with him now. Doesn't seem like there was much interest other than us and he's clearly done himself no favours at Derby.
Press will get carried away with this result (as they will with Gerrard at Rangers), but Derby should be winning those every week.
Re: Championship 18/19 - Reading v Derby tonight
Reading looked ALOT better than last season, Derby looked average but managed to get the 3 points......that sums up the Championship.

Probably head off to a European club as did Abel HernandezGenghers wrote: ↑Fri Aug 03, 2018 9:45 pm Wonder what will end up happening with him now. Doesn't seem like there was much interest other than us and he's clearly done himself no favours at Derby.

Many pundits/fans fancy the rams to go well because of Lampard's appointment, I'm unconvinced

That was like going back to the 70s/80s the picture quality was absolutely abysmal. Even the ratio was wrong as it didn’t fill the screen and was more square. Very poor effort.

I see Brentford got off to a flyer yesterday, a small club that always do well even though they sell their best players every year
Quite a few of us have predicted them for at least a top ten finish in Cat's competition

I've not checked all the way through but looks like they put it right for the repeat this morning ...hopefully just teething problems

Re: Championship 18/19
We’re aware of the technical issue that impacted the quality of EFL on Quest on Freeview last night. We’re carrying out a thorough investigation into what went wrong to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Dean Smith was my original choice as manager.
Great admiration for Brentford.

I remember getting the 'national' bus from London Victoria bus station to visit friends in Reading years ago. We drove past Brentford's ground and I remember thinking at the time what a small little football club it was and I was amazed that it was in the football league, and how smug I felt to be a supporter of the 'great Leeds United'! Not feeling so smug now
