I'd still take him as a player.

Call me a cynic Norm, but I also think Fergie 'chose' his successor David Moyes very carefully.....knowing full well that his limitations wouldn't detract from the 'Fergie Era'. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I saw the appointment of Moyes.
