It took ten minutes before the chant of "We All hate Leeds Scum" followed up by "All Leeds Are We"

I like what Southgate is doing with this England team. Young, fast and technically and tactically disciplined. First time in yonks that I am looking forward to the England team performing in the World Cup.

You’re kidding right? Looked absolutely devoid of ideas tonight ala classic England performance
Re: England v Costa Rica at Elland Road
No, I am not kidding, I thought they played well - and that was without Kane.

I agree. Much more team speed than I've seen in an English team in a very long time. I thought Loftus-Cheek played particularly well today.

It was good to see the ground packed and all those flags waving.
I think it was a brilliant bit of PR from Radrizanni. I expect he will
be showing it to Bielsa and saying look at the passion of the fans at ER.
You never know how a positive image might attract both players
and manager. A bit of bling goes a long long way.

I felt Alexander-Arnold, Loftus-Cheek, and Rashford certainly have given themselves a good showing and are a good shout for starting. Must say I was disappointed by Vardy last night.
Agree with you, I feel excited for once too.
I understand why others may feel that way about tactics but with a 5 man defence in a possession game it's normal for a team to recycle the ball at the back to allow opposition to shift and in turn create gaps for our pacy forwards.

And looking at it from another angle we should see more major events like that here. Hell, theres an argument to say take most home games away from Wembley - last nights atmosphere was a million miles better than what we would've seen in London.rab_rant wrote: ↑Fri Jun 08, 2018 8:38 am It was good to see the ground packed and all those flags waving.
