Not sure Edmondson is ready, just looks a big unit atm, Stevens is well off and Clarke did alright but I expected more. Vierra was Vierra out of position, did nothing much wrong

Felt sorry for Vieira.

Hopefully gets a chance in the role Phillips had, tailor made for him imo.

Klich deserves chances, like to see him in a 3 with Ronnie and Forshaw.

Ayling and Pearce at full back.

Clarke and Ali wingers then take your pick for the forwards and centre backs.

No Ekuban, O’Kane or Sacko, none of them being given a chance to impress the new man.

TC never used Klich after that tackle on the sideline at Cardiff.
That part of his game was very evident on display last night
Giving away free kicks in dangerous areas, from where York
had there best chances on goal. But I have to admit that he did look good
going forward with some neat passing. He looked the best on the
Leeds team. It did seem strange and look a bit odd to see someone
supposedly playing a CB role, consistently getting up over the half way line,
and that also highlighted the fact that the long ball over the top was used to great
effect in exposing the defence. You would need really pacey defenders to cope with that
threat, and I think DeBrock redeemed himself on several occasions by defusing threatening
situations.

But still a 1-1 draw against York is not very encouraging.

I know friendlies are all about match fitness but after watching that I wish I'd stayed at home last night, I had more important matters to deal with !

Speaking of friendlies apparently we played Doncaster behind closed doors on Saturday and lost 0-2. I haven't found much on how we performed though a Star reporter was hyping up Wilks apparently

I subscribed to LUTV for quite a few years. A while back the website changed and became extremely user un friendly, and as for LUTV, I gave up trying to tune in to matches, it was hit and miss commentary, and Kirwin and Eddie quite frankly got right on my chimes. I much prefer our MOT commentators ( you know who you are :) You are fantastic, and I look forward to enjoying the future season with you guys once again :scar1
