Animals hate thunder Swannie, our boxer dogs of years ago reacted the same way as your houndie. We had thunderstorms last night & early this morning, you'd think it would be cooler, not the case it has been even hotter today

Our cats never minded thunder storms or fireworks. Lewis perfectly happy outside with either happening, doesn't even flinch. Doesn't mind getting wet either.

Thunderstorms & lightning plus the wind has really got up, conifers & bushes swinging from side to side. Just taken all our hanging baskets down & sheltered them in a safe place

We can actually get YT at an Import store called the 'Brown Derby' in Springfield, MO - it's not always available but mostly, and we also get treats like Red Leicester and Gorgonzola cheeses, many British bottled beers and several other items at a reasonable tear-off price. I say that because if we try to order something like HP Sauce or Cooper's rough-cut marmalade we have to go through specialist importers and then it becomes a real rip-off. Then we just make-do.
