Fair play to Rotherham, they should have been winning 1st half, did better then Derby and Stoke :)

Best Goal difference as well +7 and QPR is -7
That usually counts near the end of the season

BPF - 8.5 - Excellent today. 2 top draw saves kept us in it

Ayling - 8 - Nice goal and generally good all game outside of some dodgy first half passing
Beradi - 8 - Best game for us so far, growing into the role. Lack of height will always be the worry though
Cooper - 6 - Slightly ragged today and his error should have lead to a goal
Douglas - 7 - Steady.

Phillips - 7 - Very erratic passing first half, could easily have been punished at least twice, better second but not his best game
Klich - 9 - Outstanding, so calm, we've not had anything like him this side of the prem
Alioski - 6.5 - Worked hard but not a lot of end product
Hernandez - 7 - Ditto, lacked his usual accurate passing
Saiz - 8 - Good game but some wasted opportunities

Roofe - 9 - Outstanding again, good movement unrecognised, created his own chances, lovely touch passing and a good assist and very good goal

Not sure what Eddies on about Roofe should have scored before Ayling did, quite clearly a pass back across the box and not a shot...lovely football

Thanks for the commentary guys - a difficult game but we somehow made it. Was that as difficult as it sounded, because to me it sounded like we got past our first 'Millwall' or 'Cardiff' from last season - we kept on patiently trying something else. Roofe surely now established beyond any reasonable doubt as a master of our potential destiny - he seems to be growing with each game.

Definitely a shot imo, turned into a good pass, he's a striker he should be shooting from.there.

Agree with those (bit generous for Roofe imo but goal and an assist so).

Phillips would have been a 6 imo but for the assist.

No watch it again and look at the angle of the foot, he doesn't strike it like he's shooting rather turning the foot to cushion across the goal, v difficult to score from there with the ball at hip height

Good win, Rotherham were always going to be a different prospect. Kind of game we might not have taken 3 points early last season.

Also think a clean sheet is good too.

Would not categorise Rotherham in the same bracket as Millwall and Cardiff as both of those teams have a bit more about them going forward. Rotherham I am sure would be happy to simply stay in the division this season whereas Millwall would probably be disappointed to not finish top half and obviously Cardiff got promoted.

Fair comment - difficult to judge when there's no stream. Still pleased we didn't get nutmegged at some point and still had enough wherewithal to press on and win. I think some serious character shpwn here.

Can’t believe Cooper is copping stick for the keepers failure to deal with a simple pass back . If BPF took charge and lumped it back where it came from there was no danger. He backtracked for Berardi to deal and he left for BPF. I Suppose it was Coopers fault they hit the post as well . Cmon guys stop picking on the lad

Would have to agree with Faaip on this rare occasion. It looks like Roofe is falling as he is trying to connect and knows he won't be able to get enough power, and angle, to shoot so gets what he can on it to keep the move alive and does brilliantly to get it to Ayling.
Excellent second goal from Roofe too, a player playing with confidence.

BPF definitely worrying me. Would attach no blame to Cooper for the pass to him as BPF had loads of time to approach the ball and leather it but stood rooted whilst the Rotherham player ran towards the ball - very lucky he hit it straight at BPF. Also thought he should have got a hand to the shot that hit the post as he seemed to have the reach to get there but the shot went under his hand. Maybe being harsh but looked saveable. He did make a good save late on in the match (and might have made more but have only seen limited highlights and didn't see the first half stream - got in just before it went down :x ).

Important win for Leeds today. Seemed we were below our best against a team that defended in numbers to limit our space but if the opposition don't take their chances we should always be able to create a few of our own.

For me today Saiz Hernandez and Alioski were off their game for parts of the game . Klich was excellent as was Roofes goal after some good playing out from the back.. BPF looked assured except for the pass back debacle . Baker looks a player so if Sammy Saiz is feeling tired stick him in

Wasn't a back pass it was a pass across the box, something we were told we must never do, Beradi in the same area also complicated matters.
