The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 11th Sept)

Post by Ellandback1 »

Good Morning Everyone

Berardi has picked up a knee injury in training and is a doubt for Saturdays clash against Millwall.

Jansson is available after International Duty though must be seething having lost at home against Turkey having been 2-0 up.

Leeds continue to wait for a full diagnosis of Patrick Bamford's knee injury. We should hear today!

The U18s stormed to a 5-1 win over Watford on Saturday, with goals from Huggins, Kumwenda (2), and Kenneh (2).

Northern Irelan Manager Michael O'Neill has leapt to Peacock-Farrells defence following the critisism aimed at the 21yo by Lee Dixon and Ian Wright.

“Bailey will be disappointed to concede two goals on his debut but I felt he looked assured and confident”, O’Neill told his post match press conference.

“I was delighted with Bailey.

"I thought he acquitted himself very well. He had no chance with the first goal.

“He looked very assured in everything else that he did”, he added.

Bamford out for 4 months with the injury sustained against Bristol.
On the bright side hopefully get to see edmondson or Dalby in action.

Afternoon HBLB, we only have three recognised forwards, and one of those has recently been dropped to the U23's. Yes, Clarke deserves his call up, bet lets not forget, when fit, Izzy Brown can play as a forward....
